About the service
The Start kit is your first tank for growing crayfish or Rosenberg shrimp at home. It is there so you can learn to grow and care, and see the growth with your own eyes — the full cycle from juvenile to adult crayfish or shrimp.
What is in the kit. A 3 m² tank and all the equipment it needs are already in the kit, along with juveniles, feed and start-up bacteria, so the water is ready for life and growth. You can put the tank in a garage, basement or outbuilding.
Why start with a tank. A farm is an investment, and it is worth trying it yourself first. In one Start cycle you learn everything in practice: how to care, how to feed, how to keep the water in order — and you see juveniles grow into adults. After that it is easy to tell whether you want to go further.
Crayfish or shrimp. Start works for both Australian crayfish and Rosenberg shrimp — choose which one you want to begin with.
Support. You are not left alone. Online training with support comes as a gift: a support chat, expert lessons, consultations. And the QR code on the kit leads to care and feeding instructions.
What next. If you want to earn after the first cycle, the next step is the incubation module or the First farm, which pays back in 12–14 months. We calculate your premises for free.
Price: €2,500.
